Welcome to Combating eDiscrimination

Combating eDiscrimination is a research project funded in 2007 by the European Social Fund (ESF). The aim of the project was to determine the barriers faced by disabled people who use the internet to access goods and services including job applications. As more and more services are being concentrated on the web, the issue of how such services can be accessed by disabled people becomes more critical. Clearly if web based services are not accessible, then inclusion for disabled people becomes even more remote. Central to the research project are disabled computer users who are invited to join our research from this web site. Help us determine what barriers you face by taking our short test. Alternatively, simply contact us from this page with your comments andexperiences of using the internet. Although disabled people are the focus of the research, comments from all stakeholders are welcome.

The final report from the project is now available here.
